Positive Images Chosen for National GivingTuesday Fund
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about the impact our giving circle is making beyond Sonoma County. Positive Images — one of our recently supported nonprofits — has been selected by our partner in giving, Grapevine, to be featured in this year’s national Grassroots Community Fund for GivingTuesday!
Celebrating Positive Images
We are honored to highlight the recipient of our Fall Grant, Positive Images, a deeply rooted LGBTQIA+ community resource in Sonoma County. Our members voted to awarded them $5,000 in recognition of their powerful work creating safe space, building resilience, and providing support for queer folks across our region.
Heels On for a Night of Purpose
Last night a group of Santa Rosa Women for Good members came together for a special night out, filled with laughter, connection, and a deep sense of purpose. A group of our members were proud to sponsor a table on behalf of our giving circle at High Heels for Hope, the annual fundraiser benefiting The Zane Templin Foundation.
Grow the Good
We’re excited to be launching our Grow the Good campaign — a mission to reach 100 women strong so we can award our largest grant yet: $10,000 to a local nonprofit serving Sonoma County.
The Living Room: Where Women Rise & Communities Thrive
We’re delighted to turn the spotlight to highlight The Living Room, the recipient of our very first grant in 2023. We are grateful for the work they do to support women in our community and are proud they were our very first grant gifted!
An Evening in Oz to Support Local Kids in Foster Care
On Saturday night we were thrilled to sponsor and attend Our Village Closet’s annual fundraiser to raise money to bring hope, joy, and belonging for children in need.

Ruthless Kindness: Spreading Compassion
Based right here in Sonoma County, Ruthless Kindness is doing exactly what their name suggests: showing up with relentless compassion for both people and animals in crisis.
Women in Conversation
This week we had the pleasure of attending the Experience Fair at the Women in Conversation event at Sonoma State’s Green Music Center.
Amplifying Our Impact: SR Women for Good Selected for Grant
We are very excited to announce that we have received a grant through the Close the Gap campaign, a national initiative by Grapevine and the Nextdoor Foundation to support local nonprofits making a big difference in their communities.
Waterfront Celebration of Our Summer Grant
On Wednesday evening, members of Santa Rosa Women for Good came together at our monthly social mixer to celebrate our Summer grant award. We were so excited to present a check for $5000 to the wonderful folks at Ruthless Kindness!
Common Ground: Creating Belonging
We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Common Ground Society, the recipient of our Spring 2025 grant. This incredible organization is creating meaningful, lasting change right here in our community, and we couldn’t be more proud to support their mission.
Wednesday Taco Social
This month our group held our social at Mitote Food Park where we were able to enjoy drinks, wonderful food and excellent company!
Trivia Night
For our June social, some of our members met up at Barrel Brothers Brewing Company in Windsor to chat about our upcoming donation cycle and play trivia. Such a fun evening with a lovely group of women!
Celebrating our Spring 2025 Grant
Last night we were thrilled to celebrate our Spring 2025 grant recipient Common Ground Society at our monthly social and present them with our $5,000 grant. Common Ground Society does incredible work promoting belonging and inclusion while supporting kids, families sand the whole community.
Blowing Bubbles & Breaking Down Barriers
This past weekend some of our members were excited to get to volunteer at Inclusive Compass' 2025 Inclusion Festival in Petaluma!
Supporting NorCal Public Media
Sunday night a group of our members worked the phones for the NorCal Public Media’s Bay Area Travel & Wine Auction, collecting bid donations from callers all over the Bay Area.
