What We’ve Been Up To
Celebrating Connection, Community & Collective Giving

Blowing Bubbles & Breaking Down Barriers
This past weekend some of our members were excited to get to volunteer at Inclusive Compass' 2025 Inclusion Festival in Petaluma!

Supporting NorCal Public Media
Sunday night a group of our members worked the phones for the NorCal Public Media’s Bay Area Travel & Wine Auction, collecting bid donations from callers all over the Bay Area.
Stocking the Shelves at Our Village Closet
We were excited to get to participate in a volunteer day for Our Village Closet over the weekend. Our Village Closet (OVC) is a resource center for youth impacted by foster care in Sonoma County, providing essential supplies and a safe community space where dignity is always prioritized. Youth and their caregivers are able to go to OVC to shop for free for essentials that they need and to find a community of support.

Walking for Good with the Zane Templin Foundation
Santa Rosa Women for Good was proud to walk with the Zane Templin Foundation at the Out of Darkness suicide prevention walk today at Sonoma State. The Zane Templin Foundation was founded by SR Women for Good member Fran Templin in honor of her son Zane. Their organization works tirelessly all year to bring mental health services and suicide prevention to those in need in Sonoma County. We are proud to continue to be able to support their amazing work and for the opportunity for some of our group members to spend a bright Saturday morning together for a good cause.

Supporting Redwood Empire Food Bank!
This month for our meeting, the Santa Rosa Women for Good met up at the Redwood Empire Food Bank where we volunteered as a group and bagged produce. Over the course of two hours we were able to enjoying visiting together, talked about our hopes for impact with this quarter’s donation, and bagged over 1,523 lbs of carrots!
