Supporting Redwood Empire Food Bank!

This month for our meeting, the Santa Rosa Women for Good met up at the Redwood Empire Food Bank where we volunteered as a group and bagged produce. Over the course of two hours we were able to enjoying visiting together, talked about our hopes for impact with this quarter’s donation, and bagged over 1,523 lbs of carrots!

This quarter we hope to donate over $5,000 to a local Sonoma County nonprofit that is supporting newcomers to our area - this could be immigrants, refugees, seasonal workers, people displaced by disasters or any nonprofit group focused on supporting and welcoming people to our area. Our goal is to keep our dollars as local as possible and help to make as much impact as possible. We are actively seeking new members - the more who join us, the more we can give.
