Fall 2025 Newsletter
We’re excited to share our very first newsletter! Santa Rosa Women for Good is a local giving circle that comes together to pool our resources and support nonprofits making a difference right here in Sonoma County. Together, we amplify our impact and are building a beautiful community of women.
What We Have Been Up To
2025 has been a big year for us! Here are just a few highlights:
Gathered every month for fun social mixers at local establishments
Nominated and learned about over a dozen local nonprofit organizations
Granted over $17,000 to Chops Teen Club, Common Ground Society & Ruthless Kindness
Connected with new faces at the Women In Conversation Experience
Volunteered for NorCal Public Media, Our Village Closet, and Inclusive Compass
Welcomed 19 new voting members into our giving circle
Every step of the way, we’re been reminded of the power of collective giving.

Meet Our Grantee: Ruthless Kindness
Based right here in Sonoma County, Ruthless Kindness is doing exactly what their name suggests: showing up with relentless compassion for both people and animals in crisis. We were thrilled to award them $7,000 to continue their life-saving work!

Our Giving Circle: How It Works
Our giving circle is low commitment—members can join in whatever way fits best for their lives. Whether that’s attending social mixers, volunteering with us, nominating and voting on grants, or simply being part of the collective impact with your donation, everyone matters and can make a difference.
1: Join & Donate: Join our group’s online platform through Grapevine Giving and contribute a quarterly donation of $100 into our communal fund.
3: Vote & See the Impact: Vote to award our grant to one nonprofit each quarter and experience the profound effect of collective giving as the chosen charity receives our donation.
2: Nominate & Discover: Nominate a nonprofit you’re passionate about and learn about other great organizations doing good work in our area.
4: Connect & Grow: Attend monthly socials mixers, participate in volunteer events, and network with a dynamic group of like-minded women, all while doing good in our community together.
The more women who join us, the bigger collective impact we can make in Sonoma County. If you want to become a part of a movement to make a difference, contact us to learn more or join today.
