Celebrating our Spring 2025 Grant

Last night we were thrilled to celebrate our Spring 2025 grant recipient Common Ground Society at our monthly social and present them with our $5,000 grant. Common Ground Society does incredible work promoting belonging and inclusion while supporting kids, families sand the whole community.

What makes Common Ground Society unique is that they provide support to families who receive any life changing diagnosis for their child. Their group of over 500 members has varying diagnoses from common diagnoses like Down Syndrome, Autism, and birth complications to more rare diagnoses like Cornelia De Lange and Fragile X Syndrome. There is no specific diagnosis a person must have in order to belong, all are welcome. This is special because often families who have more rare diagnosis are left feeling isolated with little to no local resources, this is where Common Ground Society comes in. Common Ground Society offers a community for all families so no one is left feeling scared and alone.

We are proud to support the work Common Ground Society is doing in our community and encourage you to learn more and support this special organization. An extra thank you to Region. wine bar in Sebastopol for hosting our group for this fun event.
